anyone from Arizona? I am a reporter working on people who have set a specific goal to declutter or having to do with consumerism and am looking for Arizona folks. I am an Arizona Republic Reporter. 602-444-8998, sonja.haller@arizonarepublic.com - http://www.azcentral.com/
Not sure if you are still looking. My wife and I are working on getting down to 100 each. We have made a lot of progress, but still have a way to go. We live in Phoenix near 16 st and Glendale ave.

Heard about this 100 Thing Challenge in a Sermon yesterday at church. Very interesting and way to go! We have been trying to reduce/reuse and recycle for years. Still have way too much stuff. I'm guilty of saving clothes that I don't use (they still fit) because- why??
We are thinking of moving, so I've been cleaning out garage/basement/closets by the standard "am I moving this across the country?" Now thinking of staying here, b/c our house is so de-cluttered & nice. :)
Would love to have everyone join the Flickr Challenge Stuff Group. Show some stuff!

Also if any of you techies out there can figure out how to import the Challenge Stuff group's photo stream into this FF Room, I'd be really really happy for the help.

Great admonition by the Pope. But take a look at all the banner ads and headlines surrounding this news story in the Telegraph.

ok...13 bags of clothes, trinkets...and very precious belongings.....but look...I will always have clutter..in 2 rooms of a 2,000 sq ft home......all the people I know do....I have neighbors with garages full of junk, and the 3 cars are parked outside........and look...sooner or later, I will use all I have accumulated.....you should have seen the rec room before I got rid of 13 plus bags of clutter......I consider the progress so far great, even if I never throw away anything........it was a 20 years collection of junk.....

Linda, I calculate most everything by item. A few items are grouped into categories, underwear for example. But mostly this is a real effort to get down to 100 personal things.
