"The mindset of marketers views the social web as a place to create buzz from viral marketing. The mindset of the people is that the social web is a place to converse, connect and share their own media. And marketers wonder why click through rates from on line advertising has gone down." - Jay Deragon

"TinyURL added a new wrinkle, the ability to make a custom alias for any shortened URL you make, making it just as easy for people to read as Web browsers." - tech.newsjunk.com
"FriendFeed's implementation, however, is simple and easy to use, and robust at the same time. And overnight, my opinion of FriendFeed changed completely, largely because the function of FriendFeed changed for me. And I'm not alone, there has been a huge influx of new users, as well as increased activity from old users, just because of Rooms." - Paul Buchheit

There are aspects of FriendFeed which I believe will appeal in a different way to very different segments of users. While some of us liked the earliest implementation and saw the potential, for others, its these continued improvements which help them trust the product's future. - Louis Gray
Agree with Louis and with the imitation from the likes of Facebook it shows that you are going in the right direction! - Joe Dawson (beta)

I still don't know how to track my conversations effectively: comments here, tweets there, posts somewhere else - it's very confusing. Especially that there's no dominating commenting platform. The conversations are exactly that - fragmented - and for me they're ending at sending one comment. - Marcin Grodzicki

The realism of this thing is just awe-inspiring. That techie behave pretty much like any techie I've ever encountered who's been asked to do a stupid task. And the sales dude is lethally real too. This is Dilbert meets The Office on steroids. Thanks for the link. - Roy Blumenthal
