"Look, we're not ones to knock specs for specs' sake, and 1080p output is certainly impressive for a $177.45 Chinese import PMP, but after seeing RAmos churn its way through some Android with the W7, it's hard to get fired up for this new T11TE monster. But back to the specs: there's a 5-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen, 16GB of built-in memory, microSD expansion and codec support galore. Mix in the fact that the whole player is less than half an inch thick, and even packs in dual 3.5mm headphone jacks, and we really have no excuse to be Negative Nancys, but we suppose we're just a little OS-spoiled these days. It's not you, RAmos, it's us. We've changed."

Fit and polish is important to people who just want a thing to perform a simple function. Open isn't as important as Easy to the general public.

If my Android phone breaks, what do I do? Where do I take it? (interested in one for work but support is needed/important)
- Johnny Worthington
good point johnny, but presumably if you buy it from t-mobile or verizon it would be supported through them... if you buy it on ebay or something like that then you're pretty much left to your own devices
- Chris Heath
hmmm Chris said he had "a phone" but I didn't catch what. Secret google android handset??

Yes. I am a geek, what can I say? A man who knows a lot about a little talks to few men. A man who tries to understand something about everything speaks to all. I liked this because it represents something I am listening to but don't understand. While I may not have something to contribute, I liked it so it will show up in My Discussions in case anyone else contributes something that helps my understanding.

I'm not sure what happened here, but I'm intrigued. :)

Leo, good news. Your answer to my radio call-in question last week (about my computer crashing) was dead-on. It was a logic board problem! And it didn't cost that much to replace. Thanks for the advice!

I'm so happy, I don't even mind that my name was misspelled in the show notes for that day! :P

"For Dell, a mini-computer with powerful features doesn’t have to be expensive. Hence, their new Zino HD mini-computers can be had for only $299 for the basic configuration. This price can go as high as $799 if you opt for a more powerful mini-computer."

Inspiring Show! I every much enjoyed your show last week, TWIG: 14. From 54:45 to 57:45 your conversation reached into the higher levels of Maslow's Hierarchy. Public discussions like one (and much more in bits and pieces throughout) are both special and important. I believe that changes in our society have made inspired work much more accessible. When people do what they love and love...
