Please let that be true, Pete. I'm in such a bad mood right now. I wanted Obama to take it directly to McCain more than he did. Felt like a lot of defense/clarification to me. I hope it came across differently to undecideds.

i do think he got caught up in trying to correct or defend himself against mccain's attacks a bit much. there should have been more energy with his offense and attempts in trying to lead the debate
