None of the above. [X] - Rex Hammock
hoping they're gonna be adding theme support to fight this blight - ɐ ɯıʞ sıɹɥɔ
I had to refresh my browser to notice it changed. Yeah I like it. Simpler lines good. Less contrast hmmm I guess it all depends what font you use in your web browser. - Glenn Batuyong
very minimal. would like different color schemes... i like the ability to disable unread count because it did feel like a to-do list. - Caleb Kramer
I never really have "gotten" google reader. It is nice and I make use of NetNewsWire more. - Paul W. Swansen
@Paul I use it because I can read it on my iPod touch, star the articles I like, then post links to the starred articles on my Tumblr when I get to the computer. - Larry Hudson
my problem with the reader ,stories show up a day or 2 later then when the actually sites posted them. - Randy
I had hoped GReader mobile would have been updated, too, but no such luck. That thing is really a piece of crap. - rambn
The white background is too harsh for my eyes - think I'll have to hack around with Stylish to sort that out - Andy Davies
I am so not happy with it. My gm userscripts have all gone to the dogs! :( - Flora via twhirl
The amount of white is taking getting use to, and likewise they broke all the user scripts. Damn them - BCK
I do say like because, after the initial shock there's some petty useful features. The collapsable menus is my favorite. Makes up for white out. Now I'm waiting for my scripts to start working again... - Jonas Anderson
We need a "dislike" button for this one... - Jules
Too much whitespace on the collapsed version. It slows me down. Otherwise it is fine. - xero
We need some themes. - Dave "Freedom 35"
The only annoying thing is the refresh option is now in the menu rather than a button, otherwise I don't have a problem with it. - Arthur Guy
Agree with Arthur about the Refresh button being hidden. - Warren Butler
oh, is that where it is? been so annoyed by its disappearance. I hadnt even realised this was a menu button, tiny triangle thingie. - Joelle Nebbe

awesome... let's hope it works! - Susan Beebe
My biggest problem is Google's limit on the size of a file I can fetch behind the scenes (1 MB). This really makes larger feed/API calls difficult (if you have zillions of friends, etc) - Carter Rabasa
cool, this is pretty good. Found quite a few FF accounts of my Twitter follows. Thanks! - Louis Simoneau
did you consider to use the google social graph api to match the profiles? http://code.google.com/apis/so... - Peter Hoffmann
it is not very match! - junrxu
@Peter I believe someone already coded this: http://internetducttape.com/20.... I wanted to try a slightly "dumber" process that hopefully captured more matches. - Carter Rabasa
@Carter that app hasn't worked for awhile - clarke thomas
@junrxu Try it now, I've fixed quite a few bugs. - Carter Rabasa
Very cool, I am amazed at the lack of overlap I have. - Bill Pennington
Amazing! Great job! - Glenn Batuyong
@Carter: Very nice. All that's missing is an invite button for the folks that aren't on FriendFeed already. Perhaps it could be issued as a DM or an @tweet? - Erica Baker
@Erica I love it! Will do shortly. - Carter Rabasa
@Erica This is live now - Carter Rabasa

So finally MySpaceID is not just mentioned in blogs but also on developer.myspace.com. It seems to be just a rename right now but there also seems to be some stuff (like Activity Streams) in the pipeline. This way it can be the same like facebook connect just build on open standards. - Christian Scholz

Technology Review: Are Social Networks Sinking?
December 10 at 3:05 am - technologyreview.com - Link
I don't think that they are sinking - but they way they work is changing in my eyes. In two years social networks site will feel different and will have changed their business models. People investing in SNSs will also might expect other benefits, than just have huge traffic driven ad-maschines. I think it's an interesting time now and if you spin around a bit, where this trend to openess will let us in the end, our point of view on the whole web might be different. - Sebastian Küpers
