When I hire someone, I want the best person for the job. Exactly why would I not want the most experience I could get for the money? The "you have too much experience" response means that they don't want to say what their real reason is. When you get that response, you don't have the job. What exactly do you have to lose by making sure they don't say that to the next person. When that happens, you have an opportunity to stop the next person they don't want from hearing it. - 30DCMarketers
