The Lindt Creation had a mousse filling, which made it more smooth and sweet than other Lindt 70% chocolates I've tasted. There was nothing overly distinct about the flavor, but I think it was complimented well with the Malbec wine. The Lake Champlain had a nutty hint and waxy finish. I was surprised by the sweetness of this 80% chocolate and was expecting more of a bitter taste. Again, the Malbec seemed to sweeten this chocolate's taste, but the dry, clean finish of the wine helped wash everything down in a nice way.

This is, as the name implies, a classic sweet milk chocolate. Like most milk chocolates, I found this excellent during the immediate experience but the aftertaste was a bit sour and something of a letdown. A nice snack, but lacking the complexity of some of the better darks. (2.6/4)

A mild disappointment, with about 25% too much sweetness. The milk is very nice, but rings more of condensed milk than pure milk. Nice smooth texture, but two bites was enough. (2.2/4)

As with most of the Chocolove varieties we've tried, this begins with a smooth and rich foundation. The dried cherries add bursts of flavor and sweetness. Most interesting, however, are the chilies - almost undetectable in flavor, they come on late as a sudden pleasant heat in the back of the throat. (3.0/4)

Works for me, love most anything with spice. Chocolate was typical classic Chocolove. Rich, touch of fruit, not too sweet, spice aftertaste. Forces you to enjoy a few minutes between bites. (3.0/4)

A fine, smooth chocolate, best at room temperature. Quite acceptable for a grocery-store generic, though it is purported to be of Swiss origins. (3.1/4)

A bit 'snappy' which makes difficult to eat, but after it melts, a nice smooth bitter dark. (2.9/4)

Noticed this on my way to Safeway and wanted to join in...alas they only had 69% here . Bah. And I know it was vegan too!
