Well said indeed. Speaking of ideas, is there somewhere we can send suggestions? (This one's Gmail related.)
- Will Boncher
That's a great list Matt. If anything, I think my complaint is that Google needs to fix a lot of existing products, like docs (too slow and buggy) and Picasa web (slow, and always makes me login, even to view public albums and even though I'm already logged in to gmail).
- Paul Buchheit
Deleting my suggestion to comment here; Paul Wilcox's answer is much better.
- Matt Cutts
Will, now I'm curious what your Gmail suggestions are. Want to leave them here too?
- Matt Cutts
One thing that always bothered me about the labelling system was that in order to label a message I'm composing, I have to click on view sent message afterwards, then label it. It would be nice to be able to label it as I compose it. I was hoping this would be included in their latest labelling update, but since it wasn't, figured I'd throw my idea out there.

"Largest Swimming Pool in the World over a kilometer long (3,323 feet), covering 20 acres and containing 250,000 cubic meters of water
- Andrew Baron
from Bookmarklet
That's nutty. The ocean is *right there*. A little redundant (not to mention, the ocean still wins in size!).
- Mark "Rizzn" Hopkins
ocean is cold. they should do this in Cananda. Anyone ever been to a Canadian beach? So beautiful.... and clean. but damn cold. heated outdoor pool is a great idea
- Noah David Simon
I want to see how quickly Phelps can do a length!
- Joe Dawson
Forget the bar, this pool is big enough for an outdoor mall. Shop while you swim.

You know how much pee you'd have to get to fill up that pool? lol
- Jim Kukral
from twhirl
@Jim According to Andrew, it would take 250,000 m^3 ;-)

I kinda wish someone would just make a definitive page with all the world record things in Dubai. I have literally seen 4 Dubai-based links in FriendFeed today.
- Phil G
We Americans look at Dubai the same way the rest of the world looked at us in the last century.
- Chris Baskind
That's an apt assessment, Chris. I still get a kick out of watching public domain footage from the 1939 World's Fair, which I would guess captivated the postwar world.
- Phil G
@Chris Baskind You mean as a destination I'll reach from the bowels of a steamship only to find myself living in a rat infested tenement, waking daily to peddle fruit from a horse cart? Hey, Dubai, here's my papers!
- Christopher Harley
Dubai?? That swimming pool is in Chile.
- Morton Fox
Wow Loren Feldman did a pretty good video. I take back all the negative criticism I had for his acting ability. He's really got something there. Surprisingly good.
- Dave Winer
I've watched a bunch of the video's they're funny, but tired of the Shel stick. It seems you have to be a real insider to know how they know each other and why Loren thinks the guys a *&^%head or loser. And there is always two sides and I don't have that much time for Soap Opera web 2.0 or whatever you want to call it. Loren keep doing video's, except drop Shel!
- David Cole
I think it absolutely does. I watched it yesterday and almost spilled diet coke all over my computer. Really well done and I like that it pokes fun at itself and is totally meta.
- Muhammad Saleem
Ryne what's with the Diet Coke thing? Danny Sullivan mentions Diet Coke 30 times a day on Twitter! Is that some secret hand shake? An SM secret code?
- Igor The Troll יִצְחָק
That was awesome. I love that it ended with a reference to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
- Kevin D. White
yeah robert downey jr. is awesome in this
- jaybol
I want to see the Cable guy - Jim Carrey do a Viral video! It will be a Pisser!

Has anyone figured out My Blog log yet? I got 2 inbound links from it on my blog but they are not the two people that subscribed to my community? Should we be doing more with it?
It is a good way to pick up subscribers. Log in and visit the blogs and they will return the favor. If they likey, they subscribe. I have found some great blogs using MBL.
- Joseph Ferrara.Sellsius
For the record, MyBlogLog is a sponsor of RE BarCamp and Ian Kennedy from MBL is going to be attending as well. Ian is also on twitter @iankennedy
