I had fun putting this together. Please enjoy. All sounds are 8-bit, thanks to the awesome magic 8-bit VST plugin. DM me if you would like the download.

Already a huge fan of this project Black Sugar Transmission, of Andee Hinds of Brooklyn, NY, but this song qualifies for the 8-bit room. Enjoy!

Karsten Obarski invented 1987 - twenty years ago - the MOD format for his Ultimate Tracker running on Amiga computers. Since then, countless songs are created, especially for the demoscene. MODs have special attributes. All samples are stored in 8bits and the number of voices is limited to four. To have something similarly to chords, the three notes of it are repeated very fast. This makes MODs sound so freaky. Finally 8BitBoy brings those songs back online.

I’ve been working on a new album for the past few months and am releasing a free MP3 download of the first half - sort of a preview, I suppose. The album is entitled 8-Bit Jesus and contains 9 tracks thus far. Each one is a chip-tune version of a classic Christmas song done in the style of a different NES game.

Was supposed to be a sheep shooting rockets :p

Oh my bad, I thought a trampoline cow. Armed sheep would've been my second guess
- Remo
a very common mistake, but you can identify a trampoline cow by the sad face, where an armed sheep generally has a happy face..due to the being armed part
