Grew up in Louisville, KY. In college in downtown Chicago, going into my junior year. Flying to Brooklyn to hang out with my brother.

Just saw the intro from Ben so I'm a new follower. (c: My wife and I are in Salt Lake, or more specifically Sugar House. Just a couple streets away from the park.

Don't you guys think that this information, altough not essential, should have its place in the bio? Think of geolocalized friendfeed, for instance. Quite not possible yet.

I first came across Louis back in July of 2008. I had no idea how social media 'worked' but something told me, he was a 'big player'. I subscribed to him across the board, he reciprocated, but because my feed back when I first started FriendFeeding was ALL fluff, he unsubscribed from me right away. And I admit, my feelings were hurt. I sent him a message on Facebook to tell him: I WILL regain credibility, to let you know I am worth subscribing to. Somehow, some way. Well, it worked. By just being myself. One day on PixelBits, among the silly posts of Star Wars, Lego, and gummi bears, I wrote about Goosh. A few minutes after I published, LG left me a comment, sent me an email that said: "Wow, you're a geek?" Me: "Um, yes?" Little did I know, something I wrote because I was interested in, garnered enough attention for him to extend an invitation to post on his site. And from there, Louis and I became more than Internet buddeis, we became real friends. :)

Louis- I do not know the ways to thank, appreciate, and articulate how much you mean to me, personally, as well as the community. You are humble, open, approachable, and a one of a kind man. Happy Birthday, to one of the greatest individuals, fathers, and a huge asset to the community! I am honored and grateful to call you my friend!

Always great descriptive content, interest in people, ideas and a direction. That's what I love in his (your) blogging. My first real blogging habits coincided with having you as example, hope the kids go through life with filled needs. Keep 'em battles with the cleaning bot. ;p

Mona and all above, you rock. (Everybody except Jesse who gave away my exponential number) Appreciate it and loving this thread.

LG - I trust you enough to give you my FF AND Gtalk log-ins to connect via IM to keep up with all the comments. But then again, I keep forgetting. You're Louis Gray. You *are* the Internet ;)

That post gave me the chance to setup lists as Mr. Gray suggested. In his name, I think we did him one great digital homage. FF rocks for this exact reason: the FriendFeedBack. Let's support each other 'till infinity gets a hold of us 'net adventurers. By his vision, I know this is an important factor to consider. I'm crying of joy just thinking of it. ;) #emozu

Louis: It's fitting and very sweet that this thread was at the top of the "best of day" collection on FF when I checked in. You've built a fantastic tribe on FF through your generosity and talent. Happy Birthday!
