I believe you still retain the copyright to the portions you wrote yourself (not other's contributions). You have released those under an Open Source license but you may also release your code under other licenses such as a proprietary license. As long as you stated somewhere along the lines that the code was copyright Alan Le, whether released as Open Source or otherwise. - Odi Kosmatos

Cool! Environmentally, if made well, these bags impact the environment almost the same as regular bags (There's the ink issue. Are they using soy-based inks?). A few years back, my town's mayor decided that we'd be switching from our old throw-your-bags-at-the-curb system of trash pickup to standardized Big Green Receptacles. His stated reason? Beating a dead horse here, but... the only thing those bags are good for is to fill them full of Louis Vuitton crap and throw it all away. Neither I nor my wife find that nasty design good for anything else. So, next time someone asks, just say "Didn't you know, it's for packing your ugly LV bag and disposing of it safely."
