I am especially thankful this Thanksgiving holiday. I plan to let my thankfulness spill over into actions commensurate with the emotion.
My bride put the turkeys (2) in the brine Monday afternoon. Tonight we drain & truss them. Tomorrow at 6AM they go in the smoker. #thxgiving
@michellegust I try to do my holiday shopping online and at local mom & pop retailers. The mall and big box stores are no fun.

@michellegust we brine all of our whole turkeys and chickens; now that I have a Brinkmann, they are getting smoked on a regular basis too.
