Slightly goofy domain name. Seemingly good steps for fixing Time Machine woes.
- D Hayes
Yea, the domain was made up by a friend of mine before the Canadian band of the same name (though spelled different) started. It basically means being super hip and super geek.

Cisco is just doing this to push "cisco fatty" off the search results. ;)
- Robert J Taylor
wonder what this will do for Flip innovation, should help a lot if Cisco's strategy is right
- Lou Paglia
Sad day! If they do to Flip what they did to Linksys - this is so uncore business -WHY DO IT? It's as stupid as General Moters buying a bakery
- DC Crowley
I'm not so sure this is good news for Flip and their customers.
- Aaron West
Stick a WiFi/Max chip in every Flip and now we're talking
- Ewan MacLeod
So, the are getting into server hardware and own Linksys, so does Cisco have an audio company yet? Seems like the next thing, maybe they could also buy Logitech.
- Michael Bazzoni
cmon guys, think about it. What drives the need for bandwidth and thus more network equipment? Video. How do you get more ppl sending video across the network? Make it super duper easy so the MASS MARKET can do it. And ppl prefer watching Video over reading...just look at the hours we consume watching video. More ppl create+more ppl watch=bigger networks. bigger networks = more high rev / margin equipment sales for Cisco.
- Robb Lewis
Give Shrinkadoo a try. It's an HTML / jQuery based AIR app that integrates with all the popular URL shortening services. This was developed by a co-worker and is pretty nice: http://andymatthews.net/categor...

I've had to remove a few, like SMARTDiskMonitor, because some applications like Linkinus have too many menu options. Ouch... and @Arash, that sounds totally odd. World is full of things many don't even want to know. :(

It looks like person who posted these to Flickr is from Finland since at some other pictures he has metadata that includes Finnish words.

I knew the answer already (and blogged it) but had forgotten. With CFEclipse 1.3.1.6 the default snippets directory was changed from a sub-direction in the Eclipse install path to a sub-directory (hidden no less) in the defined workspace. All is well now.

was watching it till it froze. ugh bandwidth issues, always with the bandwidth issues

I'm not that impressed with appengine. Would be very hesitant to stake my business (all of it in fact) on Google's infrastructure. Nothing against their infrastructure, but control is key. Amazon's a la carte services are much more appealing.
