"Interestingly, I had a Nokia N900, which has a transflective display, where the display would get brighter by reflecting sunlight back through the LCD layer. The colors would become somewhat washed out, but text became more legible the more sunlight there was."

"It's not a consumer product yet. In fact, the current glasses won't do much beyond take photos & video - it's a far cry from the concept video they created. OTOH I fully expect them to be given to Google I/O participants in 2014."

"That's what's happening right now. Oh, and it isn't working. Money in the economy is like oil in a car engine. You can't have either too much or too little. What has happened the last years is that the total number of Euros in Greece has dwindled to a degree that the economy is seizing up."

"I'll second that - the integrated GPU is killing your performance. Even an el cheapo PCI-Express card for 40-50 bucks will make a world of difference. What's your budget?"

"If you hold cash at a bank account, aren't you worried that the bank itself might be troubled in the next year? If you go and get nabknotes for that kind of amount (billions), where are you going to store it? Keep in mind that there are institutional investors (f.e. pension funds) that are required by law to invest at least some percentage of their funds in AAA titles - which are getting scarce these days. Loads of supply, fixed demand."

"Profit != Revenue != Margin: [See this](http://www.electronista.com/article...) and weep: Apple has 47% margins, Samsung 14%, SE (now Sony) 18% - Ok, I got that part wrong. Read the report, it's very interesting."

"> The real money is in selling the hardware Apple is first with a ridiculous margin. Samsung second with good margins but definitely not in Apple territory. Everyone else has squeezed margins, AFAIK."

"As a Greek, I just want to state that this case started on Nov. 18th 2010, and was filed by the RIAA-equivalent of Greece; the court convened, discussed the case and made the decision on Nov 7th, 2011; the result was published on May 16th, 2012, whereupon it became active and binding. Note: 18 months from case filing to a binding decision made - this is ridiculously fast for Greek standards; it helps that there was no representation of defendants."
