I always forget about FriendFeed. I know Leo Laporte loves it and I never post anything directly here. I don't even know if there's a max character count? Friendfeed is fantastic for carrying on real time discussions. Good use for it is to create a discussion within Friendfeed then post a link to it in Twitter.

FriendFeed is a great way to compartmentalize a conversation about a post. Twitter replies can be a little all over the map and become out of sync by the time you want to talk about a new topic. I've never previously considered using FriendFeed as an official blogging platform, but I'm beginning to warm to the idea :)

trouble is to remember this appearing on twitter will get cut down cos of the 140 limit so only got 1/2 your post, BTW I am a 1st day user of friendfeed, @bobbyllew you are my only other twittery that's on here, that includes my facebook and msn friends too...
