Ableton has in fact locked certain #maxforlive patches and controller API features to the Launchpad and APC40 (via @binaryally)
@clementshawes Have there been any recent firmware updates? If you're all up to date, try the official Novation and Ableton support emails.
Explanation of the last Tweet: Background apps are often the cause of surprise processor load. Limit access to reduce the chances of this.
@marclangsman Should work on any user-based operating system. Purely an idea based on the fact that most people have many background apps
Idea: Create a new user on your computer that only has access to Ableton and other necessary software - never drop audio live again!
