Try using the online installer. If that doesn't work, first install Adobe AIR, then download and run friendfeed.air. If you’re still having problems, let us know in the FriendFeed Feedback room.
To bring up the settings box, click on the FriendFeed icon (located in your System Tray on Windows, and in the Dock on OS X).
You'll need Adobe AIR to run the FriendFeed Notifier. If you don't already have it, Adobe Air will be installed for you when you download the Notifier. See Adobe AIR system requirements on Adobe's site.
Run the friendfeed.air file again to uninstall.
You can change your default browser setting in your web browser's Preferences menu.
Please first check that you can log in to FriendFeed using Safari on Macs or IE on PCs (Adobe Air uses these to communicate with FriendFeed). If you can't, make sure cookies are enabled and try logging in to FriendFeed again. Once you can log in to FriendFeed, you should be able to log in to the notifier. If you're still having issues, let us know.
