I know there's been a ton of speculation and breath-holding. So, without further ado, I'd like to announce, right here on FF, my latest PopTart crush: Taylor Swift.
Then that would negate her being a "Pop" Tart, no?
- JA Castillo
Christina Aguilera is a "pop tart" and she can sing. Taylor Swift is just your typical "blonde" eyecandy pretending to be a country singer.
- Scoble, Alex Scoble
I have to disagree Alex. Taylor Swift is as good a Country singer as most and she writes some very good songs (especially considering she's so young).
- Kenton
In Taylor's defense, she's a better talent than Carrie Underwood!
- JA Castillo
I didn't mean that as a bad thing Anthony. Maybe she needs to appear without her headband periodically and I would be less inclined to use the term.
- Kenton
I wouldn't classify her as "PopTart" material: she lacks the apparent superficiality of most pop stars. I'm not completely in sync with celebrity news, but from what I do see, she isn't one of these pop stars who is constantly being hawked by the press and paparazzi over clubbing and DUIs. You know, normal pop star stuff.

Anthony, I am going to need to see some evidence of crush-worthiness. Feel free to use the Beautiful Women group if you have to.
- Alex Scrivener
@alex scoble: xtina was a PopTart ten years ago.
- Anthony Citrano
Upon further reflection and research, I'm wondering if it was a great idea to make this pronouncement based only on a cursory review of an editorial spread in Glamour.
- Anthony Citrano
I'm wondering if Anthony intended to admit he reviews Glamour magazine...
- FFing Enigma
Talent is just a crutch for people who aren't pretty enough to make it on looks alone.
