Fuck you, US Airways. When good companies face circumstances they cannot control, they inform, communicate & accommodate. But you've obfuscated, complicated, and suckinated at every opportunity. Even your employees hate you. May the fire-ants of bankruptcy feast upon your rotten soul.
I can pretty much make the same statement, but substitute Delta for US Airways.

yeah i think i'll be driving up this summer instead of flying even though it takes 3-4 times as long as flying -- especially now that i've got this: http://ff.im/kDGxA

*This* is why I abandoned US Air a couple of years ago. Thank God that Virgin America flies a nonstop LAX <-> BOS three times a day. Not only do they blow US Air away in every way, but it's FAR better to just suck it up and drive up from Boston than risk dealing with this horror show. We can't control the weather, but we can control how we deal with customers. If they had listened to me in PWM, I'd be on my way home. But noooo.. so now I get to spend the night in PHL and miss important meetings tomorrow. I'd far far FAR rather have just stayed in Maine another night... ugh

Oh and the absolute dearth of flight information made available to customers is ridiculous. Flights are marked as "on time" when the airline KNOWS they are not; the estimated arrival times are not updated until the plane is already on the ground; staff members routinely lie about flight durations to get rid of plaintive customers and convince them to board flights to nowhere, KNOWING they will not make their connections (wouldn't want the hassle of rebooking them, would we?!); the shit I've witnessed today (well beyond just me) is mindblowing.

And what kind of airline installs wi-fi while deactivating ALL power ports (and in-flight entertainment) on ALL domestic jets (even the new Airbuses) to "save on fuel costs"?? US Air, that's who.

Wtf, the have wifi and no power on top of all this BS? Aww man, this is like my recent trips. Total airline fuckery.
- fn (fairnymph)
