"The latest data emerging on how enterprises are using Web 2.0 tools in the workplace this year is painting a picture of a sea change in the way those businesses conduct collaboration and communication amongst their workers, and to a lesser extent the rest of the world."

"Richard Thaler is one of the founding fathers of a whole new branch of economics and, it's reckoned, one of the foremost intellects to have shaped the thinking of the Obama administration in Washington. He explains why people's behaviour in a crisis is never rational, why we all need a gentle nudge to do the right thing now and then, and how giving the financial system a nudge could just get the world out of recession."

Thaler and Sunstein invite us to enter an alternative world, one that takes our humanness as a given. They show that by knowing how people think, we can design choice environments that make it easier for people to choose what is best for themselves, their families, and their society. Thaler and Sunstein demonstrate how thoughtful choice architecture can be established to nudge us in beneficial directions without restricting freedom of choice.

I sure wish the Adage site would do away with requiring registration - or at least reduce the amount of personal information they require.

Yes, we've also seen a big increase in companies signing up to use our collaborative service. Reduced travel one of the reasons but it seems that the corporate mindset under goes bigger changes in a downturn then when things are going well. Company culture has always been the biggest hurdle to get people collaborating.

Snaptell? I have it and it works great for books and CDs so far. But Amazon's looks to be slower but broader

the app is too slow right now, but I gave it 6 blurry photos and it nailed all six products. If they get this working in realtime, retail stores are going to have to ban iPhones from their stores.
- Mark Schulz
Sigh. Once again Apple you manage to show your true customer relationship stance (ie "Let them eat cake). I can buy from Amazon but am prohibited from getting the Amazon iPhone application because its not offered on your Canadian store. Fail.
