RT @emilybell: This is quite something...a corruscating attack on Silicon Valley journalism http://www.realdanlyons.com/blog... via @karaswisher @digiphile
My copy of Elmore Leonard's new book, Raylan, has just arrived. I know what I'm reading next. A UK TV channel needs to buy S3 of Justified!
Ouch! Cynical labels? Surely not. http://www.guardian.co.uk/music...
Let's see, so upgrading my current versions is 64% more expensive than buying the full product fresh? Great value! http://twitter.com/adambow...
When Awards Ignore Social Media - http://www.adambowie.com/weblog...
Clearly the Ivory Coast should have won with their quality, but what a glorious story for Zambia to win after their tragedy.
Zambia wins!
Gervinho misses!!! (Not good pens from current and ex Arsenal players)
Unbearable. Did I mention that? Unbearable. Gervinho up next. 9th pen taker? How reluctant must he be?
Over the top! Still 7-7
Touré's pen saved!
7-7 with no misses. Unbearable sudden death pens in Africa Cup of Nations. Getting down to those who don't want to take spot kicks...
6-6! Top corner...! Blimey. Tense...
Scores.
Drogba has missed one already... Stepping up!
4-4 in pens with no misses. Effectively sudden death now!
That was harsh refereeing. You see that kind of movement off the line every week in the Premier League.
Good pens so far. 2-2 with no misses/saves...
Penalties it is then...
Although I'm watching on ITV4 - and it's on Eurosport too... Come on Zambia!
Strange that neither 5Live earlier, nor BBC Sport live blog mention that BBC WS Africa has live commentary of Africa Cup of Nations final!
A short rant on the fact that #BAFTA awards aren't shown live, and we consequently already know the winners: http://www.adambowie.com/weblog...
So before BBC1's coverage of actual BAFTAs begins, @BBCBreaking is telling me who's won. Awards should be live or don't bother at all.
Still don't understand why BAFTAs aren't live. Social media kind of spoils the anticipation in the 21st century. Not that I care either way.
Find it slightly odd that Five Live is promoting a Whitney Houston special tonight. Shouldn't it really be Radio 2 be doing that?
That Unthanks song just now was absolutely gorgeous. #bbcfolkawards
