@kevsmith congratulations!
"We're building the Honda Accord of databases" - @jchris about #couchdb at #velocityconf online :)
@grantmichaels Whoops! But, yeah, if you are in SF, lets go have a beer. :)
Cool - lemme see what our schedule is like tomorrow night, and I'll send you a DM.
@kelp we'll be in SF tomorrow night, wanna grab dinner?
They truly rock RT @mperham: The #chef support in IRC is awesome. Was besieged by chef geeks wanting to solve my problem.
Come see @jesserobbins and me at the Bay Area #chef meet-up in Mountain View this Wed! http://www.meetup.com/The-Bay...
It's a girl, due April 28!
@markimbriaco Yes, you should! :)
@ripienaar Pager Duty has been doing well for us, fwiw.
@jkupferman Thanks for the clarification, Jonathan - you are absolutely right, and it's what I meant to say. :)
@hornbeck if your hands hurt, totally worth it. Love mine.
@botchagalupe You know the dirty secret, right? Which is that hardly anyone actually needs or wants auto-scaling. :)
@kelp That's a pretty good number, considering the huge number of pacifists on the super-left.
@ripienaar certainly - the only acceptance criteria for automation is whether it solves your problems. Never the elegance of your hammer.
@russss How can we stream-line that for you? Can you drop me an email with an example? adam at opscode dot com?
@deflatermouse wouldn't it be a pawn shop, with a combination of snow-sport gear and guns? only with, you know, franchise-ability. :)
@aiwilliams Thanks! If we can help at all, let us know. :) We're on irc.freenode.net #chef, the mailing list, and of course, twitter. :)
@kovyrin Sweet! Let us know if we can help out - irc.freenode.net #chef, adam at opscode dot com via email. <3 Scribd! #opschef
@martincik nice! love to see chef and sprinkle - two great tastes that go great together. :)
Happy thanksgiving. :)
@mmarschall I think Sprinkle is great - it definitley fits a niche and style of work. (and I helped write #opschef) :). Nice post!
Katie delivers delicious scones, and a new dip -blue cheese, sour cream, mayo, and shallots. Deliciousness abounds!
@standaloneSA @magurski only if they were early in their career and willing to learn one of perl, python, or ruby.
RT @grantmichaels: so, i just redeployed for no reason just to watch chef do it again while tasha made the bed..it's not lame, it's awesome
So great - @kallistec has made a Chef REPL, that includes the ability to set breakpoints in a Chef Run and step through everything. A+!
Opscode rocking out to Re: Your Brains (http://www.jonathancoulton.com/2006...)
@answerguy feel free to drop me an email - happy to help. (adam at opscode dot com)
