wah, I'm so jealous! I heard Clifford was going to be there and really wanted my son to see him, but I didn't know what time - somehow we missed him. It was great to meet you, Adin, even though 'twas far too brief!

Likewise, it was great to meet you in person (even if it was so brief). I'll have to find an excuse to come see you in person. ;-)

please, anytime! Come on down and see our library or something.

I'll find out ASAP, Adin - do you follow jmortonscott here or on twitter? He will know. Also hopefully they will post on the blog: http://ncvs.blogspot.com/ Unfortunately, I don't think there is going to be wireless throughout the center - that will make it hard for me to tweet - I don't have a cell phone, just iPod Touch. So will I get to meet you at the conference?
- Laura Norvig
I do know they have arranged to have some bloggers, including Britt Bravo, cover the conference live.

Interesting read. My initial reaction is that most of it is still relevant, especially for nonprofits starting out in this space. That said, I think there's some tension between point #6 and the use of automation tools in point #8. I think point #5 has morphed a bit into sharing the workload and managing your time effectively (avoiding the time-suck hazard of Twitter, for instance). Last, I'm hearing a lot about privacy concerns from some nonprofits; I'm not sure where that fits in.

thanks - someone else gave me some encouragement today and told me to expect it to last two weeks (ugh!).

I got sick just after NTC and I *still* have a tickle in my throat. (Not that I'm blaming NTC, but there is something very tenacious out there. Swine flu?).

Wow! Busy week. Looking forward to a great Sunday / Mother's Day with Jenn and the boys. Tonight I lucked into seeing the Dead (thanks Cary!). I hope it's like the most famous Mother's Day concert: 5/8/77.
Ah, is that tonight? I hope Phil and Warren Haynes rock it! Love them both.

It was really a very strange show; I'm going to have to listen to it to a few times to get a better feel for it. The first set was so incredibly slow, but the second set was solid. And then the encore was absolutely amazing!

I've seen a couple of good Phil shows over the last five years, but the idea of actually seeing them all together again ... hmm, interesting.

"Idoya cannot talk but her brain signals revealed that after the treadmill stopped, she was able to make CB walk for three full minutes by attending to its legs and not her own." -- that's just amazing!
