Thanks for the recommendations. I guess I'm going with LogMeIn since it's not asking for a credit card and seems like the remote user won't have to go through too many hoops.

This is PC to PC? I use Remote Desktop between Vista, XP and Windows Server but I guess if the other end is behind a router or firewall that is not a simple strategy. Remote Windows Assistant would do the job though.

have been using the free mikogo app to share screens, noticed recently it also has an option to drive someone else's screen - haven't yet tested that, will soon
