Where are the photos? - Paul Buchheit
Congratulations on the interview, Ana. I made sure to highlight your stumping for Obama in Scoble's Qik video from the other day, and Kristine enjoyed meeting you as well. - Louis Gray
Here is a version w/ photos: http://www.mercurynews.com/loc... You have to click on "2" under the photo of the Hillary supporters though. That said, it's not really worth it, since I look sort of strange. Must have caught me in a moment of naive, wide-eyed support :) - Ana

"And television watching? Two hundred billion hours, in the U.S. alone, every year. Put another way, that's 2,000 Wikipedia projects a year spent watching television. Or put still another way, in the U.S., we spend 100 million hours every weekend, just watching the ads. This is a pretty big surplus. People asking, "Where do they find the time?" when they're looking at things like Wikipedia don't understand how tiny that entire project is." - Adrian Graham

great quote that gives the reason behind release early, release often: "Getting things done is often more important than getting things right. When you are creating an entirely new product, getting things right without direct feedback from users is virtually impossible." - Adam Kazwell

"When the train service began, a remarkable photograph appeared in hundreds of newspapers, and it eased environmental concerns. The picture, captioned "Qinghai-Tibet railway opens green passage for wildlife," featured dozens of antelope galloping peacefully across the Tibetan landscape, unfazed as the gleaming silver train raced beside them." - Adrian Graham

I must have too much empathy for strangers, because the thought of this show makes me cringe. I can't even watch Ben Stiller comedies because I feel so sorry for the characters, the movies just make me feel awkward. I think I am in the minority, though, judging by the movies and shows coming out of Hollywood. - Bret Taylor
I'm exactly the same way, Bret. This is the kind of show I'd watch from behind my hands, if at all. I also can't watch Borat for similar reasons. - Kevin Fox
Yeah, I posted this in horror... but the flip side is that no one forces these people to go on this show (that can't always be said of some of the other shows/movies) - Adrian Graham

When can I buy clothes made of this??? - Adrian Graham
LOL, unfortunately it won't be commercial available in time for the election or for the fall 2008 shows. Apparently the inventor of the new black also holds the 2006 Guinness World Record as co-inventor of the smallest brush in the world - Jess Lee
do they actually think it will be useful in apparel? I didn't see that anywhere in the article (maybe I missed it). There are lots of materials much blacker than the blackest clothing you can get, but they're mostly funky metal alloys that aren't very wearable. - ⓞnor
