Google have the market and can therefore let price inflation carry on. "My first discovery about the Flippa domain auction process is that when the auction gets to the planned end, every time someone adds a new bid, four hours are automatically added to the end time.  Whilst this is good as it prevents auction sniping, it does mean you might need to stay awake at odd times to approve bids! You can set bidders to be automatically accepted but, of course, a new bidder may arrive at any time.
