On the issue itself - I don't think aggression by a nuke capable country is a continental issue. We must react. I am not a fan of Loren's but I believe he is doing a performance more then a personal attack - both of their attention meters have gone up as a result, which is Lorens real goal/purpose (for himself obviously). I disagree with a lot of what has been said but have not wanted to bring more attention to the whole situation so have remained quiet, hoping Loren would grow tired and this would end sooner. I've met Loren several times and he's a very personable guy. I had an exchange of emails with Shel three years ago that were extremely ugly. When Loren made the first puppet video I don't think he had any idea it would take off as it did. After working in PR for so many years Shel should have know better then to write that blog post. Shel needs to contact Loren and ask to be interviewed by his namesake puppet so he can laugh at himself and we can see that he isn't such a bad guy after all. - paul mooney

Some joke. They go after his sponsors, so guess what -- now he doesn't have a sponsor. That's a joke? Only if you're a sadist. Maybe if it's so much fun to be mocked by Calacanis and hisfriends, they should start picking on some people who could fight back and maybe hurt them. I don't find the situation funny at all. The average age of bullying seems to have shot up immensely as the web matures. Too bad some of its users aren't maturing as fast. Two points here that some seem to be overlooking: 1 - Did Loren honestly mean for the video to be a joke? 2 - Did Shel take it as a joke? Shel obviously didn't think it was funny, so the question then shifts to Loren's motive.
