"As a pit owner, this is saddening. Pit owners need to be more aware than regular dog owners for a couple of reasons 1.) the pit is physically strong animal 2.) they are very strong willed and need to be shown they are not dominant 3.) they are villified in almost all media stories (here rightfully so. But not a month goes by where you hear about a pitbull when in actuality it was a chained up German Sheppard, amstaf, or lab for that matter) It is very sad to see an owner so negligent to bring more shame on an awesome breed. I can only speak from my experience with my pit which have been nothing but awesome. He lets my cousins son ride him like a horse and plays well with our cats and my parents boston terrier. Either way this particular incident is very sad. The owner of the dogs should be punished for his flat out stupidity" - Adam Dunn
