I think the last Palm I had was a Clie. - l0ckergn0me
I had the Handspring Visor with VisorPhone, then went to Treo 180g, and finally, to BlackBerry. Still no iPhone. - Louis Gray
The Centro is actually a pretty decent smartphone - nice form factor, great price. - Leo Laporte
Last Palm device I had was the Treo 600 - Bwana McCall
755p right here. I'll still take it over Windows Mobile anyday, but the iPhone is calling to me - Roger Benningfield
Yes, I'm a lifelong (US Robotics Pilot to PalmPilot to Palm (last one was a T|X) to now the Treo 700P) Pam user. Really dig my Treo. Thinking about a BlackBerry when my Verizon 'new every two' is up, but I have too many programs to part with. - David Price
Best Palm device I ever had was the Clie NR70 (http://www.mobiletechreview.co...) ... Got it at the end of my freshmen year in high school... way ahead of it's time... Unfortunately... Sony decided that their awesome devices were too cool or something... so they discontinued the Clie line... - Ross Miller
I have a red Centro (from Sprint) and I like it a lot. - Shannon Jiménez
Loved the Clie - definitely a great Palm-based device, and I think I had them all. - Leo Laporte

I would take the iPhone any day over Palm. Regardless of document editing. - Chris Rodgers

its not even a contest. Palm was innovative 6 years ago. That interface is stagnant now. - Joe Mac Stevens
I still have a 700p with Verizon and a Lifedrive. Dreaming of an iPhone to dump one of them. - Raymond Phillips
Palm was great. Emphasis on was. It's still better than WinMo when considering general usability. But, Apple came along and changed the landscape and I think both Palm and Microsoft were caught off guard. It will be interesting to see how they respond once better understand what Apple has done (if they ever understand, that is). - Ben Vaughan

I have a Treo 600 that I can't wait to get rid of. Problem is, it seems that where I'm going Verizon reigns supreme and everything else is a mistake. If it wasn't that way, I'd already have an iPhone. - Robert Konigsberg
I never got my loyalty card after 3 palm devices so I've switched to a windows mobile device which was worse. Now on a Symbian. - Carolyn
Like David, been using Palm since the original Pilot, now on a Treo 700p with Sprint. Have many 3rd party programs that I depend on. I use and like it a lot but the regular crashes annoy me. May move to either a Blackberry or iPhone when my 2yr is up. - Larry Huffman
I just shelved a Palm Tungsten because I got my Blackjack II. However, I have to admit, the calendar and contact functions in the Tungsten were quite robust. I miss them. And I've used both Palm and Windows Mobile (remember CE?) for many years. The Tungsten stares out at me from time to time when I open the desk drawer. It may convince me to give it a revisit and simply answer my phone and check email on the Blackjack. iPhone? Meh. If I want an iTouch, I'll get one of those. - Rich Palmer
It's not just bacon - it's post apocalyptic bacon! It's nice to know our bacon needs will still be met in a nuclear wasteland :) - Jennifer Dittrich
I recently got my friend the bacon wallet (http://is.gd/vdY) for his bday, I wanted to get him the bacon tux (http://is.gd/vdZ) but my wife put her foot down. :) Who doesn't want a bacon tux?? - felix
If you guys love bacon, check this out..They say it makes EVERYTHING taste like real bacon... www.baconsalt.com - Anthony
Lured me over there. Heathen. Blech. Sent an invite to the husband just to torment him. Shouting will commence from living room in 5... 4... 3... 2... - Cyndy
The added perspective of seeing them side-by-side is nice. I wonder where the moon is in it's orbit (does this accurately show the distance between the two)? - Paul Buchheit
Given the description of Earth's distance from Mars, I'd say this is head-on, meaning this is to scale: "At the time the image was taken, Earth was 142 million kilometers (88 million miles) from Mars, giving the HiRISE image a scale of 142 kilometers (88 miles) per pixel, an Earth diameter of about 90 pixels and a moon diameter of 24 pixels." - Mark Trapp
I take that back, that would make the moon way too close to the Earth. - Mark Trapp
"Bobbi recognized some of her friends and waved. "Huuuuueyyyy!" they all yelled back. It was just like people who yell "Bruuuce!" at a Springsteen concert, only more retarded. In fact, Huey Lewis is a retarded version of Bruce Springsteen." - bob
Nice find Paul. It actually increases my respect for Huey Lewis et al. by couple notches. That's the Power of Love! - torque
Must admit that my early enthusiasm for Evernote waned quite quickly. I don't think I need to synch between devices enough to make it worthwhile, and without that it's no better than any other note service. Has their supposed photo "word recognition" got any better in the last couple of weeks? - Robin Cannon
via Alert Thingy
i thought the word recognition was what set it apart? - edythe
And just where are your exclamation points? - Louis Gray
I'd rather just be matter of fact. Everyone knows that only trolls use three exclamation points. :-) - Robert Scoble
Glad you like it, Robert. I hope Loic doesn't get too mad that I clipped him out of the picture to make it. Yeah I figured you would like having the last word (period). - Lindsay Donaghe
oh, I just realized that Mike posted it! So how did he find out about it if he wasn't watching FriendFeed? That's the only place I had posted it... :) - Lindsay Donaghe
Lindsay: there's a little thing called email. I sent one to Mike. :-) - Robert Scoble
My wife is teh photoshop goddess...All hail Lindsay, mistress of the pixels. - Tad - the Meme Maker
Whatever...Michael Arrington will come to the dark side eventually. - Eric Florenzano
Really well thought out and reasoned post Rob - much better than the attacks they've been getting lately. - Colin Walker
Thanks Colin. They have been unfairly attacked I think, but they are not without fault. I am worried that they may not be able to stay reliable with the growth they have. It may be too late. - Rob Diana
Ears back - smuched nose - I think that cat is a little annoyed - Jason Kaneshiro

twitter is down again ... anybody keeping track? I think it's been 3 times in the past week. - Jason Kaneshiro
It's like a daily maintenance period... in the middle of the afternoon! - Morton Fox
middle of the afternoon? no, it's when the majority of Twitter users (in Japan) are waking up and coming online. Maybe some piece of Twitter is choking on some Japanese Unicode and taking the whole thing down with it :-) - Karim
