It took me 1.5-years to get RSS after Dave Winer first showed it to me. So, I am getting faster. Took me just a few months to get friendfeed. Glad you kept after me.
- Robert Scoble
So how do I access it? <---I take that back. Didn't realize what I was looking at when I went to the site.
- Mattie Kenny
Josh: it was a seasonal thing last year at this time, so it is no longer possible. We may have to bring it back by popular demand, but for now the entries you see are all from last year.
- Bret Taylor
Bret - bring back those cute little red icons next to the FF posts! easy seasonal "flair" feature!
- Susan Beebe
I'm the lucky one Ayse. He let's his fat old uncle hang around him. Even seeks his counsel from time to time
- MoTO Poppet
And yes, the wiminze do find the boy attractive. The great thing is he doesn't take advantage of it at all. He's remains humble and extremely gracious. He made captain early this year (West Point grad). He's probably headed back overseas come February.
- MoTO Poppet
You mean Marines? No... but he just completed his Master's Degree. Owns rental property and rides one o' them bullet motor-sickles. The boy has the world by the tail.
- MoTO Poppet
Oh and he played DB for Army. Got a look from a few scouts, even a couple of tryouts, but nothing panned out. He's just glad for the shot.
- MoTO Poppet
Nephew just text paged me to let me know that he he ships out to Iraq next week. While I am extremely proud of the type of man he's become and the way he has stepped up I am less than enthused that he is (again) going into harm's way. I may need a minute.
- MoTO Poppet
We may go for haircuts again this weekend.
- MoTO Poppet
Take it all off this time, Barry :)

Too many scars and lumps on this old dome, Eivind. "Close" is just enough.
- MoTO Poppet
I've got scars all over my head. I still shave my it :)

YAY!!! Especially loved for the cheesy "take the damned picture already" smile in the lower right!

Ok Gentlemen. Time for you to 'flesh' out the rest of the book. Post your chapters when they are ready. I'll get Amazon.com on the horn and alert them that they might have another Hairy Pothead book craze coming their way!

Paul: "Camilla, why is Thomas crying?"
Camilla: "Because a golf ball hit him in the face."
Paul: "How did the golf ball hit him in the face?"
Camilla: "My hand threw it."

Wow. My parents used to drink Colt 45...in the '70s. They still make that stuff?
- Slippy Lane
I have no idea about beers and stuff, but I do for sure know that people in Portland seem to LOVE PBR. You could be a king at Ground Kontrol (the arcade/bar I like)
- Joe "The Enforcer" Pierce
I speak only from college drinking and rooming experience here: PBR was ALWAYS the last resort. It's weak and tastes like watery piss. Lucky's was preferable when nothing else could be afforded. Incidentally, I blame Blue Velvet for PBR's popularization among contemporary hipsters.
- Adrian
Miller High Life, the champagne of beers! Man, Old Style is great.
- EBJT
I will Google those and taste test them at an opportune moment. Thank you for the recs Double K dear.
- Adrian
I took a tour of the old National Brewery (it's a block from my house) and won a 40 of Colt 45 as a door prize. Drank it all myself.
- m9m, Crone of FriendFeed
Do you brew any pale ales I should know about?
- Nick B.
Lemme think: Pabst brews Old Style, Old Milwaukee, Pabst Blue Ribbon, McSorley's, Colt .45, Blast, Schlitz, and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head.
- Steven Perez
Oh, and I'm in pricing. Which means I get to raise the price of beer. :)
- Steven Perez
Thanks for saying that, Adrian. No one seems to believe me when I say Blue Velvet was the start of PBR being hipster beer.
- Spidra Webster
Spidra, it's the only thing that makes sense.
- Adrian
I agree. The whippersnappers don't believe it. But they don't know what a hardware handshake sounds like, either.
- Spidra Webster
I'll get busy checking those out when I land at Newark on Saturday.
- Nick B.
I drank a PBR this evening only because it was free (for band members). Otherwise, I'd never touch the stuff. It's only one level away from Budweiser or Coors in grossness.
- Nathan Chase
I don't like most wedding dresses. That is an *awesome* wedding dress.
- Mark Kille
Aw, thanks, Mark. I wish we took better pictures. I am not really big on wedding dresses either and I wanted something simple. This dress was the exact opposite of everything I thought I wanted, but as soon as I saw it on I fell in love with it. That moment really does happen. This is what it looks like on someone taller: http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product...
- Mary Carmen
I don't speak often, Mary, however, this is the one time I have something to say and I'm not blowing smoke, either. That gown and you were meant for each other in that you're both absolutely stunning!
- Saboma
That looks like a complete blast to me too.
- Martha
With my two, one of their favorite games was one in which I was the toy. I'd lie on the floor on my back, and one limb would mysteriously pop up into the air. I'd keep up a pattern of left arm - right leg - right arm - left leg - repeat (or whatever), and they had so many laughs trying to make all four limbs stay down. I think they were around 10-12 before they really figured out the game and were strong enough to hold down arms AND legs. Until then, it was a favorite. :-)

"I'm still searching my postal code for Crema Novi, the ultimate gianduja spread, according to my Piemontese amici. Made by a commercial chocolate producer based in Novi Ligure, Crema Novi is a plastic-tub brand found in Piemontese supermarkets, priced like Nutella but with a whopping 45 percent hazelnut content and a maniacally devoted fan base. "Why, why, why would you buy Nutella when you can have Crema Novi?" moans my friend from Asti whenever the N-word is mentioned. Because I can't find Crema Novi here, I try to explain. "Boh!" she snorts. That's obviously my problem. Outside of Italy, you can find many of the brands of crema di gianduja mentioned above, and a few I haven't tried (yet) at Italian import and specialty shops, and from online sellers such as Zingerman's, A. G. Ferrari, Formaggio Kitchen, and iGourmet. In the meantime, let me know if you find Crema Novi anywhere outside of Piedmont, per favore."

This is clearly not my cat. If this was my cat he's have one arm shoved down into the printer trying to tear up all the internal whirling bits with his bare claws.
- Soup in a TARDIS
Too Funny! Reminds me of the San Mateo Cat Shelter where one of the cats loves to sleep on top of the laster printer where the paper comes out...
- Greg Lato
1600+ to beat the FFundercats live chat thread. I think with this real time now on all threads we're going to see some truly epic comment numbers.
- Simon Wicks
Ivan, no the picture speaks for itself. ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Petr, I have no idea what you mean, but thank you. :-)
- Kol Tregaskes
@Kol .. :] that, partially, might have been the purpose.... I don't know it exactly either. :] .. was I reflecting on a cat under the fax, and that it is hard to fax that way ... /?:] ... "underfaxing at its worst" ..
- pb:
there ya have me ! :] .... see, to be honest with you, i saw this pic couple days ago, but i let it go, without posting it ..... what does that make me? :]
- pb:
even a flat cat... faxes just can't handle the hair. You'd have to shave the cat first, else the hair will burn and stick to the drum... a mess! (I am extrapolating from transparencies, mind, i don't have access to a cat to test)
- Iphigenie
Hehe, Joelle. This is now tied for the 'likes' top stop. One more then, hehe. :-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Hehe, Greg. Blimey! Erm, is that not far from 500 likes now? ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Bloody marvelous, Kol. Wish I could like it again... too cute (and help u to 500 likes).
- Roberto Bonini
I couldn't believe it when I logged on from the morning over posting it and saw it was at something 200 likes! You all have a strange fetish with cats and fax machines, hehe. ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Am I the only one who saw this and their first thought was - My goodness did someone break that cats neck? It still freaks me out a little
- SteVe "Glory Juice" C
Steve, it does look a little out of place, but cats are pretty bendy. ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
So we can put this post to rest now. :-) 505 likes final count, wow! :-D Good night all!
- Kol Tregaskes
did 3 people really un-like this? now at 506. wtf (edit: uh, oh, yeah, me and 2 + 506 others makes 509. dammit, jim, i'm an artist, not a mathematician)
- ɐ ɯıʞ sıɹɥɔ
One of the best funny cat pictures I've seen! :-)
- John Collis
Kristian, it appears to be. Hehe, John.

It's really only social convention which regards it as inappropriate, same with Xeroxing it, like one does with their b__tocks. Wait are we still talking about cats cats here or...
- sofarsoShawn <right here>
OMGosh 700+ likes now!! LOL. Thank you all 702 of you. :-)

I had to close Facebook. It's starting to sound similar to a lynch mob.

I wish I'd get picked for jury duty...I'd probably blog it, the whole process, what it's like, just to help get people over their fear of serving (nothing case specific though, I know that's not allowed)

Time for Afro puffs! My hair was getting too out of control. My stylist has been on an extended vacation to visit her husband's family in Trinidad & Tobago. I got it done once by her substitute at another salon, and I still have about a week to go before my regular stylist gets back. I couldn't do one big puff because it's cut short in the back.
I hope I don't look too ridiculous. I know they're not professional, but fortunately I don't have any professional-type stuff to do in the next week. I truly couldn't do anything else with it. And yeah, I know, ruff & stuff and all that.
- Kamilah Reed (K. Gill)
I know, I'll have to look like I'm thwee and a half years old for a little while. I tried to mature it a little bit with the flower, but that might make it look even younger. Oh, well. Better than a raggedy, uneven blowout fro. And at least they're not pigtail braids.
- Kamilah Reed (K. Gill)
Dear Nakachi - Today is your born day, and as such, I would like to remember all the fun and love we have shared over the years. All the laughs. All the cries. All the capers. All the joy you have brought into my life. I love you, sistren. Happy Birfday.
