this is some, um, high-brow, post-modern noticing!
a million different methods for practicing "super-noticing": improv, meditation, forced momentary observation, the "noticing plus time version", bunch of inane note-taking using a "notice log" (isn't this just twitter?) and clearly the benefits are innumerable... like um, you become "The enhanced human with awesome noticing..."
of all the super-hero powers, i think i'll pass on the "super-noticing power" that may make you a "super-charged" Cayce Pollard-Rainman. (Uh oh. Underwear on the highway. Uh oh). for chrissakes, i'm trying to figure out how to notice less, gah!
i noticed the word "notice" in its various forms show up 31x in their conversation (including in title). And, as aptly mentioned by these guys, each time i saw it again, i couldn't help but notice it again. To their credit, it does improve your ability to notice what you'd normally ignore. - aElian

the problem with "rockstars" is that they can do it all, better than you, and would make great managers except they can do it all and better than you. They're visionary and have great execution - do-ers, not managers. They are extremely valuable for early-stage start-ups but have a hard time with growth and delegation. Rockstars do not scale. - aElian
