You miss a few things. 1. I refresh FriendFeed hundreds, maybe thousands, of times every day. So that's a lot of "fresh things" at the top of the page. 2. I use search a lot. 3. I do scroll. 4. I visit the "best of" page a couple of times a day to make sure I didn't miss anything interesting. 5. I read TechMeme and I search for stuff I like that I didn't see on FriendFeed. - Robert Scoble

This is a good example of an audience's understanding of what the picture looks like our of their immediate demographic. People have a hard time realizing what's outside of their own 'fishtank' so to speak. Comments inline work well, but make it hard to keep a track of whats going on. I guess thats more of a FF issue tho, nested conversations are much more complex than the flat twitterlike comments. - Steve Mactaggart via twhirl

Love the new changes - a few issues still with the commenting. It remembers the past comment when I write a new one instead of clearing the box, and it also clears out my comment box every time the feed refreshes. - Jesse Stay via twhirl

Hey guys, I understand the value of tagging taxonomies and I understand how much more elegant and less intrusive they can be when they're built in to the system instead of grafted on to another feature of the site (such as comments). My point with sharing the above photos was the serendipity of two very different pictures that shared a similar uplifting spirit and shape. :-) - Kevin Fox
