Rational, Twitter usage is flattening, people are finally figuring out that Twitter sucks for having a conversation. People though Friendfeed was hard to use, try having to install several software 'crutches' to be able to use Twitter productively without even half the functionality as Freindfeed.

On Twitter lists do help, they make twitter better and all but but but-but I think a lot of users are getting more sophisticated in their web usage faster than Twitter can evolve their tech. Macarons, not macaroons. There's a difference... I don't think macarons are especially a Jewish dessert, but I could be wrong. I really do want these!

I was unlucky enough to visit Paris before I knew what these were! wah! :( I'll be happy to try some from Starbucks, though. I might order some online from Laduree, or maybe, if I'm fortunate, I'll get back to Paris again.

OK - how many of you Southerners think these look like fancy Moon Pies? Mona - is the filling really sweet? I really don't like sweets - my fave cookie is plain shortbread - would I like these?

Ugh... they better not be anything like Moon Pies. All the things I've read say they're crisp on the outside, and Moon Pies are not. They're also smaller in size. It also sounds like they come in a variety of subtle flavors. I need to taste one so that I can answer authoritatively!

Holy blasphemy -- macarons are FAR from Moon Pies. Comparing a macaron to a Moon Pie is like comparing a flank steak from Denny's to a 100% Wagyu (from Japan) from Cut restaurant in LA. :(

He does, but I think his fur is shorter on his face! Also, he is missing a leg. That's how we can tell them apart! He always fidgets too much for pictures, so it was a rare treat to have him sitting still until Bella came and caused him to move.

He looks a lot like my RubyRoo, except her "black fur face mask" just covers the top of her head, ending immediately below her eyes, so her nose, mouth and lower cheeks are snowy white. Did I mention that she has "cute tootsie roll poops?"

Joe, my parents brought it to me from a trip to Hawaii so it came from an artist local to there, but my aunt makes similar glass beads (and other things). She actually lives in NC, though, so I suppose she's not local either. But she is talented :)

Oh, I'm an idiot. It's Murano glass (makes much more sense) not from Hawaii. My parents travel frequently for work and Hawaii was the last place they went (lucky them) before giving me the gift.
