Actually that's Olde English - the mother tongue of Chaucer and Cædmon. The word "loder" refers to a small side table of rough hewn wood. "nerde gay" is a kind of bouqet or "nosegay." So what he's saying there is that he considers your stuff a virtual bouquet on his bedside table. It's quite complimentary, actually.

Response: "'All your base are belong to us' much?"

LOL... i had a hard time reading that... seriously.

Ah, you're partially right, Leo. I thought he was employing the classic ablative usage of "nerde," which would have laid his candor in a radically different climate. It's also interesting to note that "face" is pronounced with a soft 'c' - like "Beardface" on NBC's Scrubs. And if I'm not mistaken, he was referring to the rare Norwegian "loder" - which is made of ivory, not wood.

Leo's comment only added to the beauty of it. But what worries me is that some day, that illiterate buffoon who sent the comment might be in a position of responsibility. *shudder*

I live in the Philippines, where neo-Luddites reign. You won't believe how often I get that sort of antitech BS.
