I’ve been frequenting Saturday market at Salcedo with my dad to buy oranges, and other stuff to get my meals set for the week. Flowers, fruit, meat, seafood-- everything’s unbelievably fresh, and in good quality. Even processed food like cheese and bread are at their best state. There are three people I’d like to take to that market, who are unfortunately elsewhere or simply unavailable on Saturday mornings, so I took some shots to virtually show them (and you guys) around. I left Loyola Heights about a month ago to live right smack in Bel-air, the central business district. It's near my workplace so now I don't have to get up 2 to 3 hours before work, and allot an hour's worth of travel (or more) to move back and forth Quezon City and Makati. I still go back to my parents' home, and return to being their little princess on Saturdays and Sundays. After moving in, I took a few random photos of what you can see when you look out the different windows and my balcony. See the full gallery on posterous Permalink | Leave a comment »

An interesting insight from the Click programme [http://friendfeed.com/tips-eb...] is that the #EBM turns out to be more popular with the self-publishing crowd, than with backlist- or publisher catalog on-demand print runs. I got the impression that of all books printed in that location (which by...

Designed by Glasfurd & Walker | Country: Canada “Chambar Ale is the first of a new range of Belgian style beers produced by renowned Vancouver restaurant, Chambar. With a character that embodies the restaurant’s motto of ‘Civilized Debauchery’, Chambar Ale was crafted for pairing with great food and good friends. It’s a beer for those who love life’s finer things; a beer for the connoisseur. With this in mind, the label design and production was critical to the beer’s positioning. The bespoke label is screen printed in 22ct gold, precious metal ink onto amber glass.”

"A poll of 15,000 women found that Germans are considered "too smelly". English lovers came second because they are so lazy, while men from Sweden were branded "too quick to finish" and came third. Spanish men topped the table as the best lovers, followed by Brazilians and Italians."

Aw, don't worry you guys. They're just labels and stereotypes. ^^ I'm sure the women in your lives think you're wonderful! ♥

Does this mean that German women are the most demanding lovers?

:-) My country is not considered. So, I shared the link with warning:Men, you have to be in thoughts about the next research :-)

@Peter: Maybe you can look at it that way, but the study doesn't say which countries the women who voted came from.. I'm pretty sure German men are lovers to non-German women as well. :)

@Slavomira Vladimirova: Haha! Thanks for sharing :)

Eric Skiff says: Sure, it’s all well and good to bring some of your college furniture and posters with you to your first apartment, but at some point you need to get rid of the futon and upgrade a bit. So, how do you show your geek colors while ditching the dorm look? 1337motif on Etsy has some beautiful geeky cutting boards, coasters, and necklaces fit the bill nicely.

This picture looks like it could be from the religious frenzy following a cult's sacrifice to whatever it makes blood sacrifices to. Or, maybe I just read too many odd things....

LOL! I guess I should've posted better photos to accompany this link. XD

Oh, I like this one. It's just that for a moment I wondered which Group I was in since I hadn't read the caption. All I saw were half-naked men streaked with a red-ish substance. Plus, I read a lot of weird things. My mind was corrupted long ago.

Hahahaha! I'm glad the photo stimulates your imagination.

Interesting concept but, alas, so monotonously and boringly executed. Lots of missed potential. Surely, had they existed in the real, the covers would have differed far more in concept, typography and layout even were they the product of a single designer?
- ianf ⌘
Thank you, but I don't watch anything set against a black background on the principle that the designer should be designing for the online medium, not some imaginary dark theaters.

What is there not to like about Tintin, more people should like it, and if they have not, read it, read it to their kids. Read it to kids in primary school, or spend a day at the library reading it, fun adventures for all.
