I don't know why its so hard for people to imagine that some animals have analogous cognition and emotive processes to ourselves. Anthropomorphism may be going too far, but its similar. Cetaceans and some primates are more complex than dogs anyway. Hell, pigs are probably more complex than dogs. - AJ Slater
