*refresh* ... *refresh* ... *refresh* ... *refresh* ... *refresh* ... *refresh* ... *refresh* ... Looking for a job is strangely reminiscent of old school FriendFeed. *refresh* ... *refresh* ... *refresh* ...
Things have gotten pretty stagnant in my search. I still go through the motions of going to all the sites and sending stuff but just not every single day usually. I keep waiting to hear from one place I've been talking to off and on since right after I lost my job in July, but they are totally on their own unique hiring timetable since they opened a DC office from scratch about the time I started talking to them. - Jeff Quinton
Albeit with fewer pictures of man boobs. One hopes. - DGentry
Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to wait it out for a perfect-fit position: our emergency fund took a pounding this year so I'm lower on resources than I normally would be. I've still got a little wiggle room, but not for much longer... - FFing Enigma
If it weren't for unemployment and Google Adsense income (barely above the minimum monthly) on one of my sites I might be taking almost anything too - but I'm doing freelance consulting (starting that up has been slow) until I get something else (or possibly on the side afterward.) - Jeff Quinton
That's still how my FF works. :) - Rochelle
Unemployment is definitely helping, but it's not a permanent solution, nor is it enough to cover the roof leak we've just discovered (because when it rains it pours, literally and figuratively). - FFing Enigma
:( - Anne Bouey
I made a room with the feeds of half a dozen employment sites' RSS feeds (usually keyword searches around my zip and Craigslist) so I don't have to refresh :) - Jorge Escobar
