After thinking about the logistics for a bit, I think it'll be a nightmare if we each try to get in touch with our mailer one-on-one: we'd all have to sub to each other to be able to DM, and the room is public, so I don't think you want to post your address in here. I'm thinking the best option is to email 'em to me and I'll either A) email 'em to the appropriate person or B) just include a mailing list in the box and we'll work off of that. B would be easiest, but if someone has a strong objection to it we'll go with A. YOUR TASK - email your mailing address to tinapbeana+swaps at gmail. I'm hoping to get this box on the road by the end of the week.

*sigh* I posted this to my main feed rather than the room. Reshared to the room and hung my head in shame =/

Tina, you are so organized! So anxious for the adventures of the little FF Package That Could See the World.

Ooh getting more and more excited about this! So, what are the rules for what we put in and take out of the box? Aaaaand I was thinking it might be a nice idea to post photos on here or something, of when we receive the box or are posting it on? Or a photo of us with the box near a landmark where we live? Just for a little bit more excitement of it all :)

LOL! Charley, I'm psyched too!! There will be a handy dandy instruction list in the package, just in case someone is having computer issues when they receive the box. As for what goes into/out of the box: postage is pricey, so I'd recommend lightweight items like stickers, pictures, postcards, candy, etc. of low monetary value. This also helps with customs: we're mailing gifts, and keeping the dollar value low makes things smoother all around. Also, make sure what you're including is legal to be mailed overseas (so no, I can't include plant seeds...).

WOOHOO!! I have the first address, and it's to the person I'm supposed to mail to. IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG PEOPLE!

I aim to please :O) -- Now I'm wracking my brain trying to think of what to put in the package.. Very exciting stuff.. This is like the adult version of Flat Stanley..

Ummmm, nope! A complete suprise is in order i think. :)

Not this time, τorƍue: I kept the list at 20 so the package would move through the list relatively quickly. Sign up on the alternates list in the Swaps room though http://friendfeed.com/friendf... and we can include new places on the next swap!
