@shevonne not sure where you live, but I suspect that there are a bunch of people a lot closer to you than Africa that could use your donation. Not that donating to Africa is bad, but don't forget about the people nearby. - Kenton

Daniel, I think lots of people in the US think the same way you do (well, the first part). However, there's a difference between eating like you're poor and eating poorly and the two don't have to be one in the same. - FFing Enigma

Thanks for this one, Tina. I know bloggers and Internet users can change things, for eg. here in Madagascar (the country, not the movie!). Some malagasy bloggers are beginning to do some amazing job in order to help people. I'd like to add that $1 (USD) can help 3 kids (more!?!?) to eat.
