polar bears have unusually large feet, that's why they don't need shoes minus-one. But you definitely good eyes to have noticed that anomaly.

nice try, vijay, but it's obviously not a polar bear (though this one sure have big feet too, but the fact that the bear rearing up on its hind legs means bigger pressure which kinda compensates for large feet :P)
