That sounds really cool (my wife is a 6th-grade math teacher). Do they have an OS X version? All the school districts around here are Mac-only.

Akiva, have you ever used Pearson Mathlabs? I noticed this goes into Algebra but probably not algebra 2. I'm surprised MS is stopping at this point without doing anything that competes with Pearson Stat/Mathlabs. It's incredibly intuitive for learning software http://coursecompass.com/html... I'm able to do complex algebra problems and graphing problems with it as well as get reporting back. Kind of a "3 strikes and you're out" on the homework with an example to view as you work through the problem as well as video and online textbook support. If all else fails, you can hit "Help me solve this" and it takes you through the problem interactively. Of course, I can't afford the TI-83 graphing calculator so I've been workarounding with a online TI-83 Debugger. ;) It works ok but you have to clear it every so often.
