London is the same, Prices are crazy up there, houses turned into multiple occupation. Where would you recommend in SF, Ozgur mentions Palo Alto I would imagine thats very expensive being the the birthplace in California-computing etc - Jason

the thing is I don't know much about rent around the bay and have a vague idea about most areas in sf. I live downtown and my view consists of one awesome tree and a male stripclub :) I'd say if you look around the sunset and richmond districts you're more likely to find something that has a nice view + more affordable (as it's a bit further away to the center of the city). - Deniz Eda Goze
