"We're going to look back on this in 5 years and say, "Remember when 300 miles on a charge was a lot?" It's sort of like "Remember when an 8 MB USB drive was a lot?" Still, it's great to see that we're heading in the right direction."

"He has a medical exemption that requires him to keep 4 wives and have sex 15 times a day, minimum. A man full of 260 horseshit power. Scientifically proven."

"It was a perfect pass, yes, as inches in either direction would have been either out of reach or batted away, but WOW, the catch! The presence of mind to to reach forward rather than waiting for the ball, to get the left foot down at a bad angle, and to drag the right. 4th receiver? Not anymore. He's moving up in the depth chart."

"Sorry, just noticed this was a dupe that, of course, the dupe filter couldn't pick up. When is this going to be fixed? Can we go back to the older, "unimproved" dupe filter? Worked much better."

"For Canadian viewers, if you are using firefox, install the following addon: http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US... then: 1) In Firefox, Go to tools->modify headers 2) From the drop down box on the left select add 3) Then enter: "X-Forwarded-For" in the first input box without the quotation marks 4) Enter: "12.13.14.15" in the second input box without the quotation marks 5) Leave the last input box empty, and save the filter, and enable it http://imgur.com/Feb4.png 6) Click the 'Configuration' tab on the right then proceed to check the 'always on' button. Close the Modify Headers box and it should work."

"Thanks for the plug! Now check out my submissions and pick out the "SEO Spam" for me. This would be as quality a use of your time as investigating and posting about someone's LinkedIn profile. Contribute to the community. Post quality content. Focus your energies on a real goal and let all the hate slip away. It's just not constructive."

"Some sites cannot appear on the recommendation engine regardless of who submits or diggs them. Why is this? I'd be happy to demonstrate, so please don't say "The recommendation engine presents different sites to different people." There are sites that absolutely do not appear to anyone on the recommendation engine. I have analyzed analytics for dozens of sites - some that get 10 diggs will get at least a few referrals from the recommended pages, while other sites with the same analytics can get over 100 diggs, yet mysteriously zero referrals from the recommendation pages. Many of the sites we've tested were once regularly on the Digg front page getting thousands of Diggs. Now, they haven't been able to hit for months, even years. If they're blacklisted, why not just ban them and get it over with?"

"What a Diva. In the NFL, he has played a total of... none. I hope he does sit out the season and gets redrafted next year in the 2nd round."

"They confirmed it, and it's not quite as bad as it sounds, but it's still them telling people to what to tweet: http://mashable.com/2009..."

"The Dupe Detector does not pick anything up. I know for a fact because I tried to submit the exact same story. I searched just before hitting "GO" because the story felt too compelling to not have been submitted. Good thing I did. Trust me, the only real dupe detector is the search feature, and that sucks."

"The Digg Dupe "detector" really needs to get fixed. Here's the original submission that also has the video - http://digg.com/d3zBix (Sorry for the dupe, Emitstop) (Dear Digg, is there any way to get the old, partially-working version of the dupe-detector back? I know we used to complain about how bad it was, but that was before we were given something much, much worse.)"
