@dhanji Similar symptoms. Using http://www.vim.org/scripts... and :set si - much more involved fix than :set paste :(
Shaving yaks. This particular yak bellows when vim smartindenting "smart" indents inside comments and strings. Fail, and *very* annoying.#fb
