In other words, people who actually do seriously want to kill themselves rarely fail. So the more accurate way to say it would be "a lot more girls try to get attention using faked suicide attempts". Btw, if you don't accept this leading theory in sociology (that most 'attempts' are cries for attention) then what is your alternative explanation?
