LIVE ENTITIES INTERNET STORE SERVICE - Patent Application - http://appft.uspto.gov/netacgi...
The claimed subject matter provides for an online, Internet-class service that can correlate between an application interface utilizing a highly expressive, EDM conceptual format and a data store structured in an efficient, highly scalable storage format. Such a service can include components that map between an EDM schema and a data structure format. Additionally, a query reply can include data presented with a payload format distinct from an EDM query format. - AlexBarnett

REST FOR ENTITIES - Patent Application - http://appft.uspto.gov/netacgi...
The claimed subject matter provides a representational state transfer (REST) interface over a data store characterized by an entity data model (EDM) architecture. Such characterization can be presented by way of an Entity Framework that can transform data characterized in one manner at a relational database into an EDM characterization that can further be exposed to an external process or device. A REST interface over EDM stores can provide an end-to-end framework to expose data, modeled in a highly-expressive fashion, to the Internet or a web-scale intranet. - AlexBarnett

So who has taken the red pill? What is one "truth" that you believe is hidden in the matrix, but people would think you are nuts if you said it out loud?
I think the one "truth" is that we are headed towards a one world government with one currency. I really don't want to see this happen, but all the signs are there. - Ⓐ ☠ slayerboy ☠ Ⓐ

List of eponymous laws - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki...
My Favorite...Barnett's Law (not listed): It doesn't matter how many "adages" one tries to coin, an "adage" will never be listed by force, since "adages" only become "adages" organically, and never through conscious means. Barnett's Law proves this. This list of eponymous laws provides links to articles on laws, adages, and other succinct observations or predictions named after a person. In some cases the person named has coined the law — such as Parkinson's law. In others, the work or publications of the individual have led to the law being so named — as is the case with Moore's law. There are also laws ascribed to individuals by others, such as Murphy's law; or given eponymous names despite the absence of the named person. - AlexBarnett

Activity-Centered Design - http://bokardo.com/archive...
A good read, but I'm really trying to pick apart the different between task-oriented UI design (TOD) and Activity-Centered Design (ACD). I suppose you could sum up the central point of this article is that all tasks must map to the central activity(ies). TOD >> ACD. - AlexBarnett

Intuit Partner Platform Opens to Developers - http://www.cflex.net/shownew...
The Intuit Partner Platform not only gives developers the opportunity to build Web-based applications, but successful SaaS businesses by taking the complexity out of managing infrastructure, hosting, user management, integration and billing. Now developers can focus on developing innovative on-demand software solutions that solve unique and important problems for the four million small and mid-market businesses across the U.S. that use QuickBooks and the 25 million employees that work in those companies. - AlexBarnett

App Store is a Goldmine: Indie Developer Makes $250,000 in Two Months ... - http://blog.wired.com/gadgets...
Trism has made $250,000 for its developer, Steve Demeter, in just two months. A simple game, it looks to be as addictive as Tetris*, and it hits the right spot for pricing: $5. With the recent ballyhoo over Podcaster, in which Apple pulled an application that was well within the App Store rules simply because it competed with Apple's own offering, iPhone developers have been groaning that things aren't fair. - AlexBarnett
