If the screensaver was up and required a password when it exits, you could just CTRL-ALT-DEL and kill the screen saver, without having to know the password. In my Reading class, we had this program where you would select a book from a list, read it, and then take some test on the computer to measure your reading comprehension. You logged in to the program by selecting your name from a list and then entering your password. Everyone's password was their lastname (up to some number of characters) and their first initial. Some kid in my class got a bad mark on his reading comprehension test and then made up a story about how I must have logged in and taken the test under his name, to make him look bad.
