Took a Steadicam lesson today. Biggest lesson... I'm really too old to consider shooting Steadicam with a fully loaded Red camera.

@bryanebzery I really enjoy shooting... It's much more Kinetic than CG... I rarely look forward to getting up at 4:30am to animate.

Amazon suggests I buy a 1D Mark iv bundled with Sarah Palin's new book... Huh? I guess Palin must include "Shooting Conservatively" in Ch 9.
Got our two 7Ds! We've begun the testing... More grainy than the 5Ds at high ISOs but... I guess that's to be expected.
We also made Rain elements for car windshields today. I think everyone in the office just wants to create FX elements all day now. sooo fun.

@greggrusby I'll show pictures. I've turned the simpliest process of tracking markers into a science project.
Finished putting up about 80 tracking markers for tomorrow's shoot... never knew how much fun a Genie Boom is.
