We did the backyard chicken thing in 2009 and it's been relatively easy, clean (from a distance), fun, and delicious. Are you doing egg-layers or broilers?

They just stole the car seat? Wow. I wasn't worried about your son because I know you're a responsible parent and a good guy all round, so you wouldn't leave your child alone in the car.
