I do not understand why you are still looking for receipes on BBC website: on one hand they do not apply a very open policy and on the other hand as a french native you have a ton of yummy french cuisine blogs online!

Interesting but you have to buy a domain name! I am thinking of using posterous as a blog for my year 11 (15 years old). They would comment in French about the French lessons. That will be a nice and useful homework for them. I need to make sure we can send posts from different emails to the same blog?!

It's not necessarily a bad thing nowadays with the internet: there is business for the artisan, for the createur... But they have to make a little effort. Too much design kills design.
